Fourteen Fixtures, Four Boroughs: West Kent's Football, Rugby and FA Vase Weekend

Fourteen fixtures across football and rugby this Saturday, spread across all four West Kent boroughs - headlined by Tonbridge Juddians travelling to Birmingham Moseley level on points with National League 1 leaders Plymouth Albion, Sevenoaks RFC and Maidstone RFC both still unbeaten through five games in their own divisions, and four West Kent SCEFL clubs all in action in the FA Vase Second Round Proper rather than the league. Below, sport by sport: the fixtures, where and when they kick off, and each team's current form.

SCEFL clubs in FA Vase Second Round Proper - the league takes a back seat
This Saturday isn't a normal SCEFL league round for most of West Kent's clubs - four of them are in FA Vase Second Round Proper action instead, after all advancing through the First Round earlier this month. Only the Premier Division's bottom half has a league programme this week, and none of it involves a West Kent side.

FA Vase Second Round Proper fixtures
Rusthall v Haywards Heath Town — home, Sat 3pm
Larkfield & New Hythe v East Grinstead Town — home, Sat 3pm
Tunbridge Wells FC v Ash United — home, Sat 3pm
Harefield United v Snodland Town — away, Sat 3pm
Rusthall needed penalties to get past Fleet Town in the First Round and will fancy a home tie against Haywards Heath Town; Larkfield & New Hythe, who thrashed Chislehurst Glebe 4-0 last time out, host East Grinstead Town. Tunbridge Wells FC, who also progressed in the First Round despite a difficult league season, are at home to Ash United, while Snodland Town travel to Harefield United. None of these results affect the SCEFL Premier Division table, so there's no table to show for this round - normal league business resumes once the Vase run ends for each club.
SCEFL First Division: Staplehurst Monarchs away at bottom club Banstead Athletic
Southern Counties East League First Division fixture
Banstead Athletic v Staplehurst Monarchs — away, Sat 3pm
Form (last 5 league games, oldest to newest):
Staplehurst Monarchs: ✗−−✓−
Staplehurst Monarchs, seventh on 18 points, are the only West Kent club with a normal league fixture this weekend - away at bottom-placed Banstead Athletic, who have lost six of their last six and are without a win all season.
Rugby: Tonbridge Juddians still unbeaten, away at Birmingham Moseley
National League 1 fixture
Birmingham Moseley v Tonbridge Juddians — away, Sat 3pm
Form (season so far - 7 games played):
Tonbridge Juddians: ✓✓✓✓✓✓✓
Tonbridge Juddians have won all seven league games so far and sit second in National League 1, level on 35 points with leaders Plymouth Albion but behind them on points difference. They travel to Birmingham Moseley looking to stay perfect.

Rugby: Sevenoaks RFC still perfect, Tunbridge Wells look to bounce back
Regional 1 South Central fixtures
Sevenoaks v London Scottish Lions — home, Sat 2.30pm
Farnham v Tunbridge Wells — away, Sat
Form (last 5 league games, oldest to newest):
Sevenoaks RFC: ✓✓✓✓✓
Tunbridge Wells RFC: ✓✓✓✗✓
Sevenoaks RFC, five wins from five and clear at the top of Regional 1 South Central, host London Scottish Lions looking to stay perfect. Tunbridge Wells, second after their only defeat of the season - away at Bracknell - go to Farnham looking to build on last weekend's 36-20 win over Maidenhead. The two West Kent sides, relegated from National League 2 East together last season, still meet each other at Knole Paddock on 21 November.

Rugby: Maidstone top of the table, East Peckham & Paddock Wood's unbeaten run ends
Counties 2 Kent fixture
Cranbrook v Maidstone — away, Sat
Counties 5 Kent fixtures
Lordswood v Weavering Warriors — away, Sat
Park House II v East Peckham & Paddock Wood — away, Sat
Maidstone RFC, five wins from five and top of Counties 2 Kent, travel to second-placed Cranbrook in a genuine top-of-the-table clash, on the back of a 34-7 win over Folkestone last time out. In Counties 5 Kent, Weavering Warriors - who had a bye last weekend - go to Lordswood still unbeaten after four games. East Peckham & Paddock Wood, who had been unbeaten league leaders, lost their first match of the season last Saturday - beaten 29-47 at home by Beccehamians II, themselves still unbeaten - and now travel to bottom-placed Park House II looking to respond.

Who's not playing: Bearsted have a blank weekend
One of West Kent's regular SCEFL sides is missing from this Saturday's list entirely. Bearsted, fourth in the Premier Division, have neither a league fixture nor an FA Vase tie this weekend - a genuinely blank Saturday after their own Vase campaign ended earlier in the competition.
