Sevenoaks Town Twice Pegged Back in 2-2 Draw With Whitstable Town

Sevenoaks Town 2-2 Whitstable Town

Isthmian League South East Division | Bourne Stadium, Greatness Park | Saturday, 7th November 2026 | Attendance: 347
Sevenoaks Town: Jaden Perez (35'), Kevin Diomande (60')
Whitstable Town: Dean Grant (78'), Harrison Pont (81')
Jaden Perez scored his first league goal of the season to put Sevenoaks Town ahead at Greatness on 35 minutes, a lead that held to half-time despite two early Whitstable bookings - Eze Ebuzoeme on 28 minutes and Billie Clark on 44. Whitstable made a double change at the interval, sending on Kane Rowland and Robbie Rees, but it was Sevenoaks who struck first after the restart. Kevin Diomande's finish on 60 minutes, his sixth league goal of the season, made it 2-0 against a Whitstable side sitting second in the table coming into the game. Whitstable responded late: Dean Grant halved the deficit on 78 minutes, and substitute Harrison Pont, cautioned minutes after replacing Henry Young at the break, levelled it at 2-2 on 81.
Sevenoaks captain and goalkeeper Jordan Perrin was shown a late yellow card in stoppage time, as was Whitstable's Ryan Bernal; referee Owen Lawrence took charge in front of 347 at Greatness. The draw follows a heavy 5-0 defeat at Herne Bay on Tuesday that ended a four-match winning run, and leaves Sevenoaks 13th in the Isthmian League South East Division on 22 points from 15 games.
