CCTV Appeal After Man Left With Serious Ankle Injury in Mount Pleasant Road Assault

Kent Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after an assault in Tunbridge Wells last month left a victim needing hospital treatment for a serious ankle injury.

What happened

At around 3am on Saturday 17 October, the victim and a friend were in Mount Pleasant Road when they were approached by three men they didn't know. Following a short verbal exchange, one of the men is alleged to have thrown the victim to the floor and stamped on his leg, before the group left on foot towards Church Road. The injured man went to hospital for treatment to a serious ankle injury.

Second appeal on the same street this year

It's the second violent incident Kent Police has appealed for information about on Mount Pleasant Road in under two months, after a bus driver was assaulted by a passenger on the same street on 19 September. Police haven't suggested any link between the two.
