The Partnership, a property law firm regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, opened a new office at 76 Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells, on Monday 5 October - its third, alongside existing offices in London and Guildford.
Why Tunbridge Wells
Peter Ambrose, the firm's managing director, said: "Tunbridge Wells is an area we've wanted to establish ourselves in for some time. It's a fantastic property market with some excellent estate agents and mortgage brokers, and having a local presence means that we can work more closely with them. We're continuing to invest in the business, both through technology, people and expansion into new areas, and we're excited about becoming part of the local property community." Sales director Matt Fenn, who the firm says spent years working in estate agency before joining, added: "We don't just want to be another conveyancing firm working in Kent - we want to be part of the local community. The new office gives us the opportunity to spend more time with agents and brokers, support them and building relationships that benefit everyone involved in the moving process."
An established firm, not a startup
Despite the "new office" framing, this isn't a new business: Companies House records show The Partnership (2009) Limited was incorporated in August 2009, meaning the firm has been trading for 17 years before adding this third site. It describes itself as "where conveyancing meets technology," pointing to its online portals for clients, estate agents and mortgage brokers, and an initiative called Pledge 100, aimed at moving transactions from instruction to completion in under 100 days.
