New Ash Green's Spice Village Named Best Restaurant of the Year at National Curry Awards

An Indian restaurant in New Ash Green has picked up a national industry award, after Spice Village was named Best Restaurant of the Year at the Curry Life Awards 2026.

Spice Village is a BYOB Indian restaurant and takeaway on The Row, New Ash Green's shopping parade, run by owner-chef Imran Rahman. The restaurant has built up a following locally over several years and holds a 5-star food hygiene rating.

The Curry Life Awards hand out several regional "Best Restaurant of the Year" titles each year alongside national categories, rather than a single UK-wide winner - restaurants in other parts of the country also picked up the same category title at this year's ceremony. For Spice Village, it adds to a growing list of accolades the restaurant has highlighted on its own social media in recent years.
