Snodland Residents Asked for Views on 20mph Limit for Malling and Holborough Roads

Snodland Town Council is asking residents, businesses and road users for their views on a proposed 20mph speed limit for Malling Road and Holborough Road.

What's being asked

The council's consultation questionnaire asks whether people support or oppose the change, what they think the main benefits or drawbacks would be - from improved safety and reduced noise to concerns about enforcement, driver compliance and journey times - and whether the 20mph limit should cover both roads in full or only certain sections. The council says responses will help inform whether a formal proposal is taken forward.
The questionnaire was uploaded on 20 October, and the council hasn't published a closing date for responses on its website.

How to respond

The survey can be completed on paper and returned to the Council Offices, Waghorn Road, Snodland, ME6 5BQ, or filled in online via SurveyMonkey. Source: Snodland Town Council
