Sevenoaks Fall Short Against Broadbridge Heath

Sevenoaks Town: J. Borders (41')

Broadbridge Heath: L. Bejashvili (52'), Z. Young (79')

After a quiet first half, the game came alive just after the break when Jed Borders fired Sevenoaks into the lead early in the second half.

The visitors responded well, though, turning the game around with two goals of their own. Jay Richardson brought Broadbridge Heath level before Zachary Young struck what proved to be the winner midway through the half.

Sevenoaks pushed for a response late on and made several changes to try and get back into the game, but Broadbridge Heath held firm to take all three points.

A frustrating result for the hosts, who showed moments of promise but couldn’t hold onto their advantage.
