Sevenoaks Town Win at Steyning for a Third Straight League Victory

Sevenoaks Town: Nathan Jeche (26') Freddie Nyhus (90+5')

Sevenoaks Town made it three league wins in a row with a 2-0 victory at Steyning Town on Saturday, moving up to seventh in the Isthmian League South East. Nathan Jeche put them ahead on 26 minutes and they led 1-0 at half-time, before Freddie Nyhus sealed the win in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

No match report had been published at the time of writing, and the league's goal timeline is the only detail available. It shows Jeche's opener, a Steyning booking on the stroke of half-time, and a run of changes and cautions in the second half before Nyhus struck late on.

It is a sharp turn for a side that took just three points from its first five league games. After beating Margate and thrashing Eastbourne 5-0 this week, Sevenoaks have won three in a row, kept clean sheets in the last two and gone from 15th to seventh in a week. Jeche has now scored five goals in those three games. Steyning, who lost again, are 20th of 22. Source: isthmian.co.uk
