Maidstone United Head to Hampton & Richmond for Bank Holiday Clash

Maidstone United's Bank Holiday Monday will be spent on the road, as the Stones make the trip to west London to take on Hampton & Richmond Borough in the Enterprise National League South. Kick-off at the Beveree Stadium in Hampton is set for 15:00, with the fixture forming part of a busy Bank Holiday programme across the division that also includes Tonbridge Angels' home game against Walton & Hersham and Folkestone Invicta hosting Hemel Hempstead — a reminder of just how many south-east clubs are represented at this level of the pyramid alongside Maidstone.

For those following from home or unable to make the journey, the club is directing supporters to its usual matchday channels, with updates promised on X and Instagram, and commentary available via Stones Live from 14:40, hosted by Chris Bechervaise and Darren Styles.

Admission at the Beveree is set at £15 for adults, with concessions priced at £12 for those aged 65 and over or in full-time education, and £5 for under-18s. Under-5s go free, while a £1 carer ticket is available to those able to provide proof of relevant disability benefits. Supporters should also note that the Beveree operates as a cashless stadium, meaning fans will need to have card or contactless payment options ready on arrival.

Travelling fans have the option of a supporters' coach organised by the club, departing from the bus stop on Royal Engineers Way at 11:30 (with arrival requested for 11:15). The cost is £25 for club members and £30 for non-members. Given that a minimum number of passengers is needed to make the service viable, those interested are being urged to get in touch promptly with travel co-ordinator Nigel Tyler. As with other away-day coach trips run by the club, alcohol, smoking and vaping are not permitted on board.

The fixture offers Maidstone fans a chance to see how the Stones fare against another established National League South outfit as the season builds momentum, with Bank Holiday fixtures traditionally offering a good opportunity for away support given the extra time off for many supporters.
