Alfie Tuck Leaves Maidstone United by Mutual Consent as Stones Sit Top of National League South

Midfielder Alfie Tuck has left Maidstone United by mutual consent, the club confirmed on Thursday, bringing a short Gallagher Stadium stint to an end.

Tuck arrived at Maidstone this summer after leaving Queens Park Rangers, where he had spent 11 years coming through the academy. He made 10 appearances for the Stones, starting three matches and coming off the bench on the other seven. The club thanked him for his contribution and wished him well for the future.

The departure comes with Maidstone United sitting top of National League South, on 22 points from 11 games - one point clear of Salisbury, Billericay Town and Truro City. Craig Fagan's side are next in action at home to Maidenhead United at the Gallagher Stadium on Saturday 17 October, kick-off 3pm. Source: maidstoneunited.co.uk
