Larkfield Stun League Leaders Fisher as West Kent's SCEFL Clubs Bounce Back

A week after all five of West Kent's SCEFL Premier Division clubs lost on the same afternoon, Saturday brought a much better return: two wins, two draws and only one defeat across the group, headlined by Larkfield & New Hythe's win over league leaders Fisher. Staplehurst Monarchs, in the First Division, also drew.

Bearsted: Stace

A single Stace goal was enough to see Bearsted past AFC Greenwich Borough, bouncing back from the previous week's 5-4 defeat at Fisher and moving up to fourth in the Premier Division.

Rusthall: Bissett, Osideko, Fares, Clover

Rusthall's best result of the season so far, four different scorers putting bottom-of-the-table Erith & Belvedere to the sword at The Jockey Farm Stadium and lifting the club to sixth in the table.

Tunbridge Wells: Gallagher

A heavy defeat at home to Phoenix Sports leaves Tunbridge Wells second-from-bottom of the Premier Division. It capped a miserable week for the club, who were also beaten 3-1 away at SC Thamesmead - a Bartlett goal not enough to save them - in the Challenge Cup on the Monday.

Larkfield & New Hythe: Williams, Chin

The result of the weekend for West Kent: Larkfield & New Hythe, without a league win in five, beat Premier Division leaders Fisher 2-1 through goals from Williams and Chin - the same Fisher side that had put five past Bearsted the previous Saturday.
