Minster (Sheppey) CC 249 Tunbridge Wells CC 268-8
Kent Cricket League Premier Division | Saturday 15th August 2026
Tunbridge Wells CC: Viraj Bhatia 69, Ollie Morgan 51
Tunbridge Wells CC made it two wins from their last three with a 19-run away victory over Minster (Sheppey), posting 268 for 8 from their 50 overs before bowling the hosts out for 249. Viraj Bhatia's 69 and Ollie Morgan's 51 did the heavy lifting with the bat, building on a strong week that also included a 58-run home win over St Lawrence & Highland Court on 8 August. The result keeps Tunbridge Wells in touch with the top of the table without quite threatening the summit themselves this week.
Sevenoaks Vine CC 185-7 Hayes (Kent) CC 165
Kent Cricket League Premier Division | The Vine | Saturday 15th August 2026
Sevenoaks Vine CC: Brad Hope 69
Sevenoaks Vine made it three wins in a row, beating Hayes by 20 runs at home to follow up a big 151-run win away at Whitstable the previous weekend and an earlier five-wicket victory over Blackheath. Brad Hope's 69 was the standout innings as Vine posted 185 for 7 from their 50 overs, before restricting Hayes to 165 all out. It's the kind of form that turns a mid-table finish into something more interesting over the closing weeks of the season.
Tonbridge CC 248 Bickley Park CC 232-9
Club cricket | Poplar Meadow | Saturday 15th August 2026
Tonbridge CC's first team had a tighter afternoon of it, edging out Bickley Park by 16 runs after being bowled out for 248. It wasn't as smooth for the second team, who lost by two wickets at Linton Park after being dismissed for 174 in reply to 178 for 8 - a reminder that not every West Kent scorecard this weekend told the same story. Tonbridge's weekend also included a 101-run win for a Friendly XI against Chevening Amblers on the Sunday.
