Stolen Golf Carts Recovered Within 30 Minutes in Edenbridge

Three golf carts stolen overnight in Edenbridge were recovered by police within just 30 minutes of the theft being reported.
The vehicles were taken from a property on Hever Road sometime between the evening of Thursday 21 May and the early hours of Friday 22 May. Their disappearance was reported to officers the following morning.
Following the report, officers from the local Community Safety Unit launched immediate enquiries and carried out searches in the surrounding area. Their efforts quickly paid off when all three golf carts were located and recovered less than half an hour later.
The vehicles have since been returned to their owner.
As part of the investigation, police also seized a car found at the location where the golf carts were recovered. The vehicle is currently undergoing forensic examination as officers work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the theft.
The rapid recovery highlights the value of local policing and community intelligence, particularly in rural areas where specialist vehicles and equipment can be attractive targets for thieves.
While incidents involving golf carts are relatively uncommon, thefts of machinery, tools and utility vehicles can have a significant impact on local businesses, landowners and sporting facilities. Recovering stolen property so quickly is likely to come as welcome news for both the owner and the wider community.
Police enquiries remain ongoing and no arrests have been announced at this stage.
