Sevenoaks Town FC Applies for Bar Licence as New Greatness Pavilion Nears Completion

Sevenoaks Town FC has applied for a premises licence at its new Greatness Pavilion clubhouse, as the long-running redevelopment of the club's Mill Lane ground enters its final stages.
The £2m-plus Community Sports Pavilion project - funded by the Premier League, the FA and Government's Football Foundation, the Premier League Stadium Fund, Sevenoaks Town Council, the club itself and Community Infrastructure Levy contributions - will give the club modern male and female changing rooms, covered stands, a small gym, and café and refreshment areas alongside the new clubhouse. Sevenoaks Town Council said in April that construction was progressing well and running considerably ahead of schedule, with the building expected to be finished around August 2026.
The premises licence application, submitted in the club's own name, would allow the new clubhouse to serve alcohol once it opens - the kind of practical step that tends to follow shortly before a venue like this actually starts welcoming people through the door. It's currently pending a decision.
It's the latest step in a project that's been years in the making: match reports on this site have referred to Bourne Stadium as "the ground at the centre of the club's long-running Greatness pavilion redevelopment plans" for much of this season, and last year's funding and construction milestones were themselves backed by contributions from local sponsors including Premier Alarms. With the building now apparently close to finished, Sevenoaks Town fans may not have too much longer to wait to see what the finished clubhouse looks like on a matchday.
