Sevenoaks Town Held to a Draw by Merstham on Bank Holiday Monday

Sevenoaks Town shared the spoils with Merstham in a 1-1 draw on Bank Holiday Monday, a point that leaves the Greatness Pavilion side still searching for the consistency to kick on in the early weeks of the Isthmian League South East Division season. It follows a mixed run of results in cup and league competition over the Bank Holiday period, with a point against a Merstham side who had themselves lost in the FA Trophy on Saturday a reasonable, if unspectacular, way to close out the weekend.

Off the pitch, the club's new Greatness Pavilion clubhouse — funded by the Premier League, the FA and Sevenoaks Town Council — continues to near completion pitchside as the redevelopment of Mill Lane enters its final stages.
