Police appeal for witnesses after three people assaulted at West Malling event

Kent Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage after three people were reportedly assaulted during an event near West Malling last weekend.

The incident was reported at around 3.22pm on Sunday, 12 July, on the A20 London Road in Addington.

According to police, a man allegedly assaulted three people before leaving the scene in a black Range Rover. Officers believe the suspect is known to those involved.

One of the victims suffered cuts and bruising to his head, back and hands, while a second man and a woman experienced eye irritation believed to have been caused by a noxious substance. All three received treatment from paramedics at the scene.

Officers have already reviewed available CCTV as part of their investigation but are now asking the public for further assistance in identifying and locating the suspect.

Residents living nearby are encouraged to check any private CCTV systems, while motorists who were travelling along the A20 London Road around the time of the incident are also being asked to review any dashcam footage that may help the investigation.
