Pensioner's Stolen Fiat 500 Recovered Near Dartford, Man Arrested

A car stolen from a pensioner's driveway in Sevenoaks has been recovered and handed back to its owner, Kent Police have said.

The force received a report that a Fiat 500 had been taken from a property near Chipstead Lane at some point between Sunday 30 and Monday 31 August. Officers traced the vehicle to a premises near Dartford and recovered it on 4 September, returning it to its owner.

A 40-year-old man from Sutton-at-Hone was later arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. He has been released on bail while enquiries continue. Source: Kent Police
