Outdoor cinema returns to Knole with family favourite Lilo & Stitch

Families looking for something different to do during the summer holidays will have the chance to enjoy an outdoor cinema evening in the grounds of Knole in Sevenoaks next month.

The National Trust has announced a special screening of Disney's Lilo & Stitch (2025), which will take place on Saturday, 29 August, in Green Court at the historic estate.

Gates will open at 6.30pm, giving visitors time to explore the Gatehouse Tower, with admission included in the event ticket. The film is scheduled to begin at 7.30pm, as the sun sets.

Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic, chairs and blankets to make themselves comfortable for the evening. A concession stand from The Little Green Truck Co. will also be available, selling hot drinks and sweet treats.

The film is rated U, making it suitable for families. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event, while children under two can attend free of charge.

Early bird tickets are available for £12 while stocks last. Standard tickets cost £15.

The event will go ahead regardless of the weather, so organisers recommend bringing warm clothing for later in the evening. Visitors should note that only assistance dogs are permitted, and umbrellas or gazebos will not be allowed to ensure everyone has a clear view of the screen.

Booking is essential.
