Free Parking Across Tunbridge Wells for Christmas Kick Off

Visitors heading into Tunbridge Wells for this year's Christmas Kick Off celebrations will be able to park for free all day on Saturday 14 November, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has announced.

The free parking offer covers seven participating council car parks across the town: Royal Victoria Place, Crescent Road / Town Hall, Great Hall, Meadow Road, Torrington, The Pantiles, and Linden Park Road.

Christmas Kick Off is organised by the RTWT Business Improvement District (BID) and is expected to draw thousands into the town centre for a day of festive entertainment, shopping and family activities, including market stalls, live entertainment, family attractions, late-night shopping, Santa's sleigh, Rudolph's Runner land train, the annual Christmas parade and a fireworks finale.

Councillor Rob Wormington, Cabinet Member for Environment and Sustainability, said: "Christmas Kick Off marks the start of the festive season for many people and brings a real sense of excitement to the town centre. By offering free parking throughout the day, we're making it easier for residents and visitors to enjoy the celebrations, discover everything our town has to offer and support local businesses at an important time of year. We hope people will come along, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a great day out in Tunbridge Wells."
