Free family safety event coming to Sevenoaks fire station

Families are being invited to visit Sevenoaks fire station for a free event combining games, practical activities and home safety advice.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service will hold its Be Safe with Us event on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 July 2026.

Visitors will be able to meet local firefighters and other KFRS teams, take part in hands-on activities and complete an interactive safety trail. The event is designed to help children and adults learn straightforward ways to reduce risks and stay safe at home.

Three sessions will be held on both days:

• 10am to 11am: A quieter SEND session for children and adults with additional needs, with reduced noise and fewer visitors
• 11am to 1pm: Morning session
• 2pm to 3pm: Afternoon session

Each group will be asked to leave at the end of its allocated session so the station can prepare for the next visitors.

Tickets are free, but places must be reserved in advance.

Information can be provided to Kent Police by calling 01622 604100 and quoting reference 46/119474/26.

People can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
