Erith Town 4-0 Sevenoaks Town
Isthmian League South East Division | Stanmore Stadium | Tuesday 25th August 2026 | Attendance: 189
Erith Town: Michael Arthey (14') Deven Reid-Solanki (38') Harry Taylor (49') Jefferson Aibangbee (86')
Sevenoaks Town's difficult start to the season got worse on Tuesday night, as they were beaten 4-0 away at Erith Town in the Isthmian League South East Division. Goals either side of half-time from Michael Arthey, Deven Reid-Solanki and Harry Taylor put the game beyond doubt long before substitute Jefferson Aibangbee added a fourth late on.
Erith were two goals up inside 38 minutes, Arthey finishing on 14 minutes before Reid-Solanki doubled the lead just before the break. Sevenoaks made changes of their own either side of half-time as they searched for a way back into it, but instead it was the hosts who extended their advantage four minutes into the second half through Taylor, before completing the rout when Aibangbee, on for barely half an hour, scored with four minutes left.
There was an added edge to Erith's fourth: Aibangbee was on Sevenoaks' own books as recently as last season, scoring in wins over Deal Town and Sittingbourne among others, before moving on to Erith ahead of this campaign.
It's Sevenoaks' second defeat in three league games, following the opening-day draw with Faversham Town and last week's 2-1 loss at Croydon Athletic, and leaves them 19th in the early South East Division table with a single point from three matches. There's a week and a half to regroup before Sevenoaks are back in action at home to Merstham on Bank Holiday Monday.
