T. Allman Butchers and Edenbridge Beavers Take Top Honours in This Year's Gardens in Bloom

Edenbridge's green-fingered residents and traders were celebrated at the Chairman's Reception on 3 September, when the winners of this year's Gardens in Bloom competition were announced.

In the Young Gardener category, Edenbridge Beavers took the win, with Marsh Green Pre-School as runner-up and a special mention for Gabriella Sloane. In the High Street Trader/Organisation category, T. Allman Butchers won, with Edenbridge Memorial Health Centre as runner-up. The awards were presented by Neil Miller, Head Gardener at Hever Castle, who joined the reception to recognise the entrants' work.

The annual competition celebrates the care residents and traders put into their gardens and visible spaces, helping to make Edenbridge a more colourful and biodiverse place. The council thanked Neil Miller and Hever Castle, this year's judges, and its prize sponsors, which included Chartwell, Emmetts and Standen House (all National Trust), Chiddingstone Castle and Waitrose Edenbridge.
