Sevenoaks Town Draw a Blank at Cray Valley to Stay Winless

Sevenoaks Town came away from Cray Valley PM with a point from a goalless draw, extending an uncertain start to the season to four league games without a win. The Oaks have now drawn three and lost two, and sit 19th in the 22-team Isthmian South East Division on three points.

It was a third clean sheet of the campaign, which is something for manager and squad to build on, but a fourth game in which Sevenoaks failed to score - a run that also took in a 3-2 FA Trophy defeat at AFC Croydon Athletic. The club has been active in the transfer market through the early weeks, most recently adding forward Harvey Brand, as it looks for the goals to turn draws into wins.

Sevenoaks Town's scheduled trip to Herne Bay on 12 September has been postponed, so their next outing is a home game against Margate the following weekend. Source: isthmian.co.uk
