Maidstone United produced a devastating attacking display at the Gallagher Stadium on Tuesday night, dismantling Enfield Town 8–0 in what will go down as one of the most dominant performances of the season.
The Stones were ruthless from the first whistle, racing into a four-goal lead before the break and showing no sign of easing up after half-time. At the heart of it all was hometown forward Riley Court, who claimed his first hat-trick for the club in a performance brimming with confidence and clinical finishing.

Fast Start Sets the Tone

The warning signs were there inside two minutes. Jamie Yila’s clever pass released Jephte Tanga, whose low cross found Court, only for his effort to clip the outside of the post. It was merely a rehearsal.
Three minutes later, Court made no mistake. Picking up a pass from Muhammadu Faal, he lashed a rising drive beyond Joe Wright to give Maidstone an early lead.
Enfield briefly threatened a response through Nino Adom-Malaki, but goalkeeper Nathan Harness dealt with the danger, and from that point on it was largely one-way traffic.
When Tanga was bundled over in the box, Faal calmly converted from the penalty spot to double the advantage. Soon after, Faal turned provider, slipping Tanga through to finish neatly via the post and make it three.
Court struck again in first-half stoppage time, dispatched coolly after being played in by Yila, sending the Stones into the interval 4–0 up and firmly in control.

No Let-Up After the Break

The second half followed the same pattern. Yila surged past his marker and unselfishly squared for Tanga to tap into an empty net. On 55 minutes, Court completed his hat-trick, turning in a cross to cap a memorable night for the local lad.
With changes made, Maidstone’s intensity didn’t drop. Substitute Deon Moore added a seventh on 71 minutes, finishing from close range after another dangerous low ball from Tanga.
The scoring was rounded off in the 89th minute when Hamzad Kargbo reacted quickest after Wright saved from Moore, poking home to seal an emphatic 8–0 victory.

Statement Win

This wasn’t just a win - it was a statement. Fluid, aggressive and relentlessly efficient in front of goal, Maidstone overwhelmed their opponents in every department.
For Riley Court, it was a landmark evening with his first hat-trick in amber and black. For Maidstone United, it was a record defeat inflicted on Enfield Town and a result that underlines their attacking firepower as the season enters its decisive phase.
